A leader in the quickly expanding aging services industry, Elmcroft Senior Living is currently seeking a results-oriented sales professional for the role of Community Sales & Marketing / Relations Director (CRD) for our assisted living community.

The CRD is responsible for the overall sales effort of the community and for meeting budgeted occupancy goals. The duties include:

  • Focuses on sales activities outside the community by making sales calls and presentations to referral sources, potential residents and other local resources.
  • Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications for residing in an assisted living community. Maintains detailed customer database in order to stay in close contact with potential residents/responsible parties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with any and all potential referral sources and conduct on-going field visits.
  • Accompanies prospective residents to model apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available services, associated fees, and terms of lease. Introduces prospective residents to department heads of areas in which they might have a particular concern. Becomes familiar with all services provided by all other departments in order to discuss these services accurately and objectively with the potential resident/family member.
  • Effectively uses need-based selling to present Elmcroft’ Senior Livings advantages to prospects and families.
  • Inspects condition of apartments and premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance to assure Elmcroft Senior Living shows positively to the community.
  • Works with the Executive Director and Department Heads to ensure completion of new resident orientation program to assure new residents are adjusting successfully to their new surroundings.
  • Establishes strategic marketing plans to guide marketing efforts and help achieve Elmcroft census objectives.
  • Effectively educates medical community regarding Elmcroft Senior Living and the assisted living setting in order to gain appropriate resident referrals.
  • Manages marketing operating budget to assure spending is at or below budgetary guidelines utilizing spend-down sheets.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent brand presence throughout the community with promotional materials and special events held or sponsored by Elmcroft Senior Living.
  • Oversees and evaluates market through research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Monitors competitive services and marketing activities of other assisted living communities in the area so as to assure Elmcroft Senior Living remains competitive in the marketplace.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners such as the state level assisted living trade associations and national chapters such as Argentum, Alzheimer’s Association, AARP and so forth. Serves as liaison with these organizations to create goodwill for Elmcroft Senior Living and educate those outside organizations on Elmcroft Senior Living services.
  • Participates in the Manager-on-Duty program, as assigned.
  • Is fully knowledgeable of the fire evacuation and disaster policy of the community and participates as assigned in fire and disaster drills.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of compliance and ethics program policies and procedures.
  • Completes all mandatory compliance, HIPAA and state and federal regulatory training as required.
  • Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Elmcroft Senior Living and the Care, Comfort, and Happiness of our residents.
